Day 48: Banafsaj 100 days of writing


it’s not the big gestures
nor the misery shared or the happiest of memories that hurt when departing
it’s the little things we shared,
it’s the small talks in the hallways that ringed with our midnight laughters
it’s the untimely good mornings i say in the afternoon 
it’s their little tantrums and drama that add spice to my everyday routine
it’s their fights over too much perfume, too little makeup, too old fashion, too outgoing 
it’s them, their voices, their souls echo into mine
